Autobiography-Creating a primary source about yourself
Your expectations for this project are to create an autobiography about you. Remember an autobiography tells about yourself. Auto=self. You need to bring in or send in some pictures of yourself growing up. This needs to include the following:
-at LEAST 10 slides in your video on EduCreations
-pictures of you now and when you were growing up....if you do not have pictures of you when you were little, you need to draw some on skitch or another drawing app.
-detailed sentences in your speaking about yourself to tell what has happened in your life up until now
-Must include important dates: for example-your birthday, day you started K, etc.
-Include who your family is as well even if it is just a drawing or in your words when talking about yourself.
Remember an Autobiography includes as much information about yourself as possible.

Holiday Traditions
Christmas Wreaths
Today we will be learning where the Christmas Wreath tradition originated, or began. We will also be making some wreaths of our own to decorate our hallway and to remind us why this tradition began. You will be completing a report in Evernote with either photos, clip art or hand-drawn artwork to demonstrate and exemplify what you are writing. Your writing should be checked for errors and will be emailed to Miss Davis who will then print them off to display with our wreaths in teh hallway. Use the symbaloo mix below for some websites to research this long time tradition. Use the Green webmixes for more info on the wreath tradition.
Visualizing
11-28-12
Watch the following video of the book Tuesday by David Wiesner.
How to Visualize....watch first!
Watch me next! Then see below to complete the assigment.
Now that you have "read" this wordless text by visualizing what the story holds you will now write about what you read. I want to you take it one step further and write and draw about what you would see the next Tuedsay night, around eight. You may use your choice of app or whatever way you would like to create the information and send it to me or turn it in. Be sure to include in your writing why you think the author included what he did. Also answer WHY it is important to visualize as you read and how does this make you a better reader?
Don't forget to focus on your work and I should be back tomorrow. I'm sorry I have been out. I hope you all had a good break and there will be a reward for those of you that have behaved so well when I have been out. Make sure you email me your work to [email protected] so I can check it out.
